The Calm after the Storm

It's been quite a long time. My husband and I have moved to Boise, and we are now both working in the Tech support field full time! It's very nice to have a set schedule, to be able to anticipate from week to week (or even day to day for that matter) when I will be able to sleep, play, create or cook. We have a great new apartment with an air conditioner (a must have here in the Boise summer heat). Creative projects are starting to take off again after being on hold during the chaos of transition--which lasted longer than usual do to finding an apartment and two jobs overlapping and then switching entirely. Things are much more stable now, and the ensuing rest has created a primordial soup of ideas that are percolating in my brain, just waiting for the right moment to emerge. One such idea has already come into being thanks to several craft blogs out there. I am sure many more are to follow.

I will not go into detail about my new job or my experiences there--but I may, from time to time, drop little sadly hilarious tidbits like this:

I used to think that the stories about tech support calls detailing items not being plugged in/turned on were exaggerated for dramatic effect. Oh, how very wrong I was!

That is all.
